Café de Flore

Kate Berlant: "So we get across the street to Cafe de Flore, we sit outside, it's maybe 10:00, and we order the St Germain Spritz. I'm gonna say this once- best spritz of my life. And I'm talking about every element. So first of all, the glass was absolutely beautiful. It's like fine crystal."

Jacqueline Novak: "It was like you if you were a glass. It was neither a martini nor a wine glass."

Kate Berlant: "So he goes and he's making the spritz at the table, and he's using champagne, which is my big issue with a lot of spritzes- as we all know, I fucking hate Prosecco. Traditionally, spritz is made with Prosecco...He's using champagne for the spritz and I go 'oh fuck', I'm like that's what I want. It is heaven."
